Welcome

Men of the Week
A Compendium of Viral Photos

This website is an adjunct to my gallery "Mind of the Exhibitionist".  The men represented on that site specifically chose to expose themselves on the internet.  That's what makes them exhibitionists.

The difference with the viral photos presented on this "Men of the Week" site is the issue of intention.  These men freely allowed themselves to be photographed, consciously took that gamble, but most probably did not anticipate their exposure making its way into viral distribution.  There are literally millions of photos floating around the internet that are forever beyond the control of their subjects.  Now their nakedness is part of the canon of online porn.

You are encouraged to download and distribute these photos, contributing further to their exposure.  If I were to ever receive a request from a photo subject to remove their photos, even if I deleted those photos, they would still be out there in the viral la la land of cyberspace.  They were already out there before I ever saw them.

Every photo on this website was found publicly available and free of charge, making its viral rounds of cyberspace.

Please note:  Some years ago, Blogspot announced that they were removing all blogs with adult content.  I created a venue for this blog on Tumblr, but did not undertake to attempt reposting one gazillion photos to the new site.  Blogspot soon changed their mind under outcry from its clientele and left adult sites intact.  In one of the planet's wry ironies, after moving two of my blogs to Tumblr, it was ultimately Tumblr who decided to eliminate adult content and locked down all such sites.  Can these people not make up their minds?  I was glad to stay put, but totally pissed at their stupidity.

In any case, the original site in front of you is frozen in time, as I discontinued updating during the debacle of juggling between Blogspot and Tumblr.  And yet ... these photos are still here, still viral, underscoring the very principle upon which this blog was created: that once these dudes post their photos, those photos are forever.

After two decades of being online, the viral nature of amateur photos amazes me.  I still run across photos I first saw years ago, that have been passed around online for years.  Once it's out there, it's out there.  And that is the nature of this site, to display viral photos that are forever beyond the control of the subject.
